Nodusfall Grahmer Guide
The male greatsword tank from the Cologne select screen — preview label, not a shipping ID.
Grahmer is the name Ari Notis printed in Polygon’s 30 August 2026 Gamescom hour for the male greatsword tank. Treat it the same way this wiki treats Hexsworn: a booth select label, not a HoYoverse character sheet. Fraser Brown (PC Gamer) played the same seat without printing the name and still wrote the cleanest kit: a serious-looking lad, a Berserk-scale sword, clash as a charged heavy, and a Divine that grew the blade then turned him into a towering dual-wielding knight.
If you want the job chart, stay on roles. If you want the four-name table, use Weavers and the demo roster. This page is the tank.
What the booth actually loaded
Polygon’s select screen, in that hour, listed Grahmer (greatsword tank), Suixi and Qiong (bow seats), and Hexsworn (frost support). A fifth slot printed Gamescom1 — a sword warrior the reviewer learned you can rename. Do not freeze Gamescom1 as a character. Do not confuse Qiong the archer with Qiongqi the cavern lion.
GameRant described the same tank as a male melee hero with a massive greatsword that looked ripped from Berserk. Famitsu’s 騎士 is the Japanese job word for the same chair. Brown’s session is the one that matters for verbs: you spend the hunt on the monster’s mouth, you clash, you hold Divine for a phase split.
Clash is the kit
Charge a strong attack, release it as the beast is about to hit you, watch the weapon swell into a glowing counter. Miss and Hexsworn pays the heal tax. Land it and you steal tempo. Polygon called the same button a charged clash parry and said the hits themselves lack soulslike weight — the spectacle is in the specials, not in a poise break. That is why comparisons files Grahmer under FF16-feel, not under Elden Ring posture.
Do not pick Grahmer on a laptop trackpad. The demo roster already parks the tank at A- for that reason. If you already parry in Monster Hunter or any charged-counter game, promote him to S for yourself only.
Divine: giant knight, not a wolf
Brown’s Divine on this seat became a dual-wielding giant. Polygon also saw a flying-demon transform on a different kit. IGN Japan’s Daniel Robson named Glimmerwolf Incarnation as a Divine that turns a Weaver into a giant wolf bite — that name is not attached to Grahmer in print. Until a client lists who owns which morph, assume Grahmer’s published Divine is the towering knight, and put the wolf on Divine Skills.
Hold the button for a rider split or a wipe prevent, not the opening roar. The Maldrake Knight fight in Brown’s session is the example: dragon and rider separate, Divine on the grounded knight, party execution after.
Party job
Four-player hunts want a front-liner even though solo is allowed. A pug with Suixi, Qiong, and Hexsworn and no Grahmer will learn clash the hard way. A pug with four Grahmer will learn why Hexsworn exists. Safe template stays: Grahmer, Hexsworn, one bow, one flex.
Read combat for Elemental Links and joint executions. Read controls so clash is not on a button you miss. Pre-register before you theorycraft a respec: pre-register.
What this name is not
It is not a confirmation that the shipping tank is called Grahmer in English, Japanese, or 源初之结. It is not a banner. It is not a reason to skip Hexsworn if you freeze under telegraphs. When HoYoverse prints an official romanization, this page keeps or redirects. Until then, Grahmer is the tank Polygon handed the English internet, and the right first Weaver only if you came to clash.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Nodusfall questions.
Is Grahmer an official name?
It is Polygon's Gamescom select-screen label. Treat it like Hexsworn: preview English, not a character bible.
Is Grahmer the same as the knight Famitsu played?
Same seat: male greatsword tank. Different outlets, different words, one chair.
Should I main him in a first beta?
Yes if you can clash. No if you want the safest pug invite — that is still Hexsworn.
