Nodusfall Builds Hub

How to layer Styles, Divine Skills, relics, and weapons — before the numbers exist.

Builds Hub

A build system in a game with no public client is a framework exercise, not a optimizer. Nodusfall’s confirmed layers — Styles, Divine Skills, relics, weapons — are real systems, but none of them have published numbers. You can plan the shape of a build. You cannot calculate a DPS rotation.

This hub explains what each layer does, how they interact, and what the Gamescom demo implied about stacking them. Individual role builds live on the demo roster. Divine Skills have their own deep dive. Relics have their own deep dive. This page is the architecture.

The five build layers

Weaver. The character. Knight, archer, mage, Hexsworn — each with a base kit of four regular skills, one Divine Skill, and a weapon type. This is what you pick at the character select, and it is the foundation everything else sits on.

Style. The sub-class or combat approach within a Weaver. The demo showed one bow player taking a winged transformation while another took a different ultimate. That is Style in action: same Weaver, different tactical identity. Styles change which regular skills you prioritize and which Divine Skill you field.

Divine Skills. Earned powers that grow as you defeat bosses. Personal and permanent between sessions. The long-cooldown button that defines phase decisions. Covered in depth on the Divine Skills page.

Relics. Equipment pieces with no slots, no set bonuses, no upgrades. Drop from Dreadnodi. The layer least documented and most subject to change. Covered in depth on the Relics page.

Weapons. Greatswords, bows, staves, and more shown in footage. Forging from hunt materials is in the official progression blurb. The weapon defines your basic attack rhythm and often your clash identity. The combat page covers clash timing per weapon type.

How Styles interact with Divine Skills

The “Slay, Forge, Build, Evolve” homepage feature says you can switch roles and loadouts at will. The “Seize Their Power” feature says Divine Skills grow from boss defeats. Combine those two: your Divine Skill roster is persistent, but which one you bring to a given hunt can change based on the Style you select.

Two Hexsworns with the same Divine Skills can still field different healing forms. Two knights can bring different Divine transformations based on what they have farmed. Style is the knob you turn within a Weaver; Divine Skills are the power you accumulate across all hunts.

The weapon layer

Weapons drop from hunts and are forged from materials. The official progression blurb confirms weapon customization — a separate axis from Style or Divine Skills. A knight can carry different greatswords with different base stats and different move profiles.

No weapon tier list exists. No forging recipe is public. The principle for pre-release planning: understand what your weapon does at a mechanical level (clash on heavy, charge on bow gauge) and treat damage numbers as TBD until a client exists.

Planning a build before beta

The honest pre-beta workflow:

  1. Pick a Weaver from the demo roster. Start on Hexsworn or bow if you want the highest floor.
  2. Read the roles page to understand party jobs and why the tank is not optional in organized play.
  3. Study co-op combat to understand pressure, clash, and weakness windows.
  4. Read Divine Skills to know how your power grows after boss kills.
  5. Read Relics to understand the equipment layer and why it is different from Genshin artifacts.
  6. Read Styles and customization to understand how sub-classes change your kit within the same Weaver.

No calculator replaces hands-on time. When a test client ships, screenshot your loadout, share it responsibly (no NDA violations), and update this hub with real numbers.

When this hub will change

A public client is the trigger for everything below:

  • Actual skill names and numbers
  • Divine Skill unlock trees
  • Relic drop tables and properties
  • Weapon forging recipes
  • Style sub-class trees

This page will remain a framework guide until those inputs exist. The moment HoYoverse publishes a skill panel or a combat FAQ, individual build pages for each Weaver will split from this hub. Until then, one hub is honest.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Nodusfall questions.

Can I change my build in Nodusfall?

Official copy says you can switch roles and loadouts at will. Divine Skills are persistent personal unlocks. Relics are standalone pieces with no upgrade path.

Are there talent trees?

No published talent tree exists. The Styles system is the published customization layer; specifics are unannounced.

What is the best build?

No answer exists until a client ships real numbers. The best pre-release advice is: pick a Weaver, understand clash timing, and study Divine Skill unlock mechanics.

Do builds differ between solo and co-op?

Role assignments matter more in co-op. Solo builds can prioritize self-sufficiency. The Divine Skill and relic layers apply in both modes.
