Demo Roster Rankings

This ranking is for the first Nodusfall hunt you will actually play — a future beta or a friend’s living-room demo — using only the four Weavers Gamescom handed the press. It is not a damage meter. It is a recommendation order for people who have to pick a body in ten seconds, which is exactly how GameRant described the booth select screen.

Parent context: tier list hub. Kits: Weavers, Hexsworn, roles.

S — Hexsworn (healer)

Highest first-test value. Two heals, a ring ultimate, and frost damage that still hits nodes. A four-player contract with no healer is the wipe pattern preview coverage keeps implying even when it does not say the word. Hexsworn also has the most detailed English kit write-up, which means you can practice the idea before a client exists. Solo players can still chip with pebbles; they simply waste the ring.

Drop her if you refuse to look at party frames. Then play bow.

A — Bow ranger (ranged DPS)

Clear resource: fill gauge, spend charged shots. Inven’s four-charge burst is easy to remember. Distance forgives bad clash timing. The winged ultimate and beast-mount Divine are extra identity, not a homework assignment for day one. In a pug, this is the damage seat that will not stand in fire because they never walked into melee.

Drop them if your static already has two bows and nobody will tank. Swap to knight.

A- — Greatsword knight (tank)

The fight looks like the trailer when this Weaver clashes. That is the point and the risk. Fraser Brown loved the counter. Random players will press heavy too early and eat a Drake swipe. Party need is still A: dragons want a front-liner. Personal floor is lower than Hexsworn. If you already play Monster Hunter gunlance or any game with a dedicated parry, promote this seat to S for yourself only.

Drop them if you are learning on a laptop trackpad. Clash on a trackpad is how hunts become screenshots of the floor.

B — Mage / hexer (backline burst)

Famitsu had a good time. Tracking attacks felt beginner-friendly. We still have fewer concrete buttons than Hexsworn or the bow. Tornado clips and lightning charges are cool and unmeasurable. Until a skill list ships, this is the flex DPS you pick for fun, not because a tier list told you to.

Drop them if your group lacks a healer and you are willing to play Hexsworn instead. Fun is not a fourth damage seat on a three-boss chain.

Party templates

  • Safe pug: knight, Hexsworn, bow, mage.
  • Learning solo: bow, then Hexsworn, then knight.
  • Creator clip farm: knight plus whoever makes the execution look loud.
  • Do not: four knights, four Hexsworns, or four of anything because the trailer made the sword look heavy.

What would move these ranks

A published skill tooltips page. A named English roster. A test where Divine Skill charge rates differ by job. A patch that lets Styles turn the bow into a tank. None of those exist. When they do, this table gets a date stamp and a rewrite, not a silent swap.

For hunt technique, combat and Dreadnodi outrank any letter grade. For buttons, controls. For the show this ranking is based on, Gamescom 2026.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Nodusfall questions.

Why is the tank not S?

Party need is high; execution difficulty is also high. Hexsworn's floor is safer for a first hunt.

Will this change in beta?

Yes. Treat it as expired the day a public client ships.

Where are the leaked names?

Omitted on purpose. Unconfirmed pre-reveal labels do not belong on a ranking.

Is there a weapon tier list?

Not enough data. Greatsword, bow, stave, and sword are the shown types.
