Hexsworn is the only Gamescom Weaver with a widely printed English job name. GameRant’s Cameron Swan played her for about thirty minutes on an Xbox pad wired to a booth PC and came away with a kit that reads like a co-op support: infinite frost pebbles, an underground ice wave, a single-target heal beam, a group heal, a damaging ice beam, and an ultimate that drops a large green ring. Japanese hands-on pieces describe the same seat as a girl who wields ice and healing magic. Famitsu’s 呪術師 pick had long-range tracking and flashy skills — likely this kit or the adjacent mage. Until HoYoverse prints a character select with official romanization, Hexsworn is the name this wiki uses, because it is the one a major English preview attached to the healer.

What she does in a hunt

Hexsworn is not a pure pocket healer. Her primary is a small ice projectile Swan compared to Elden Ring’s Glintstone Pebble, fired without a resource from a stave. The secondary is a wave that travels underground and erupts at the target’s feet. Landing three secondaries granted an empowered follow-up in the preview — a mini-game inside the kit that rewards aiming, not only holding RB for heals.

Heals still define the party role. One skill is a beam that heals a single teammate over time. Another is an AoE around Hexsworn. The ultimate paints a green ring that heals everyone inside. In a Fire Drake or cavern titan fight, that ring is the difference between a tank who can clash again and a wipe. Do not stand behind a pillar when you press it.

The ice beam is your personal DPS button for phases when nobody is dying. Rotate it with pebbles so you are not a healbot who never contributes to Elemental Links. Nodes still need hits from the backline.

How to play her on a pad

GameRant listed three primary abilities plus an ultimate on RB plus face buttons. That matches the wider controls chord system. Put the single-target beam on the chord you can hit while tracking the tank. Put the AoE heal on a chord you will not fat-finger during a dodge. Divine Skill for this kit was not fully named in that preview; other Weavers used Divine for transforms and mounts. Until a client lists it, treat Divine as the once-a-fight panic, not a filler GCD.

If you are on mouse and keyboard, the five-slot HUD (E Q R G T in footage) is your sketch. Heal chords belong on keys you can press without taking your camera off the tank’s health pip.

Party value

Four-player hunts in the demo wanted a healer even though solo is supported. Random groups that skip Hexsworn will lean on whatever self-sustain the knight has, which previewers did not describe as a full substitute. If your friends insist on four damage seats, you can still queue Hexsworn and deal frost damage — you will just be the only person who can answer a raid-wide.

Read roles for the job triangle and combat for when to hold the ring through a phase change. Hexsworn does not clash like the greatsword knight. Your survival is positioning, not parry heroics.

What we do not know

No talent tree, no official English skill names, no scaling numbers, no proof she is in the first unlock batch after a story beat. Cosmetics on her — outfits, hair, accessories — were available in the booth and are the likely cash shop surface. Do not spend money in a client that does not exist. Do pre-register so you can actually test her: pre-register.
