Nodusfall Soundtrack & Music Guide (Sep 2026)

The Nodusfall world premiere trailer is the only music publicly available for the game as of September 2026. It runs roughly two minutes, is not officially named, and has not been released as a vocal single or as part of an OST. This page covers what is confirmed, what the trailer hints at, what HoYoverse’s previous games suggest, and what is still unannounced.

What is confirmed about the music

Three facts are public.

  • The trailer on the official channel (ID I59kIiEDOMM) contains a vocal and choir-led track with an orchestral string arrangement. The credits roll does not list a composer; the upload title does not name a song.
  • The trailer has not been re-released as a single, and the track does not appear on Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube Music under any Nodusfall label.
  • miHoYo under the HoYoverse brand runs an internal music team called HOYO-MiX. Treating HOYO-MiX as the Nodusfall team is the obvious inference; not confirmed.

Everything else is pattern, observation, or gap.

What the trailer says about the soundscape

A wordless choir carries the main melody, strings rise underneath, and brass with timpani marks combat beats. It moves from quiet to loud and back, with a sustained crescendo during the dragon reveal and a hard pull-back before the slogan card. The mood is heroic, mournful, and slightly ecclesiastical — closer to a film trailer than a gacha title screen.

The palette does not match Zenless Zone Zero’s synth pop, Honkai: Star Rail’s jazz-and-soul house band, or Genshin’s regional folk bounce. Nodusfall is leaning orchestral-and-choir, which suits a story about fallen divinity and corrupted beasts in a multi-mythology setting, as the overview notes.

What HoYoverse games usually do for OSTs

HoYoverse’s release pattern is consistent enough to state, even though no one has promised it for Nodusfall.

  • Free YouTube upload first. HOYO-MiX posts a full OST to YouTube within weeks of a content drop.
  • Streaming services later. Spotify, Apple Music, and others get the same albums after the YouTube window.
  • Region and character albums. Genshin Impact ships region discs, Honkai: Star Rail follows with planet and version discs, Zenless Zone Zero ships a soundtrack plus character themes, and Honkai Impact 3rd has done this since 2016.
  • Single themes for key characters. Main characters tend to get a named vocal theme with a credited singer and a music video.
  • Original composers. HOYO-MiX’s regular names include Yu-Peng Chen (Genshin) and in-house composers. None have been attached to a Nodusfall release.

If Nodusfall follows that pattern, expect a free YouTube OST drop between the first beta and launch, a streaming release a few weeks later, and region discs as each new continent lands. That is a pattern, not a promise.

Compare to Genshin’s OSTs

Genshin Impact is the closest reference point. Its OST is split into region albums named for the region rather than the composer: Fleeting Colors in Flight collects Mondstadt tracks, Realm of Tranquil Eternity collects Liyue tracks, and later discs follow Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Snezhnaya. Each lands on YouTube and on streaming services.

Nodusfall is a different genre and continent, so the disc names will not copy Genshin’s. What is likely to copy Genshin’s is the shape: a base OST for the launch patch, region or hub discs for each new area, and named character themes for the Weavers. Until the roadmap ships a confirmed cadence, this is informed expectation.

Audio settings and accessibility

Nothing has been announced about the in-game audio menu. Unknowns include audio balance sliders; surround or spatial audio support; subtitles and caption behavior; accessibility audio cues for colorblind players; and a streaming mode for the soundtrack without gameplay noise. HoYoverse games have shipped some audio cues for elemental status, but the exact Nodusfall feature set is unannounced.

What is not announced

Any site filling these in is making it up.

  • Composer credits. No name is publicly attached to the trailer track.
  • Full track list. Not even a track count has been shared.
  • OST release date. No window, no quarter, no patch number.
  • Vocal theme single. No lead single, no vocalist credit, no music video.
  • Streaming-service deal. No Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon Music listing under a Nodusfall artist page exists yet.
  • Audio settings details. No UI screenshots, no press interviews on sound design beyond the post-Gamescom multi-mythology color.

How to keep up

The official Nodusfall and HOYO-MiX channels are the only sources worth trusting. Press write-ups, including the hands-on notes, are useful but cannot replace an official upload. Follow the roadmap and monetization for the broader release story. When HOYO-MiX ships a Nodusfall disc, this page is where the link, the track list, and the streaming links will land.
