Nodusfall Customization and Styles
Heroes, not a face slider — outfits, Styles, and the cosmetic layer still under review.
Nodusfall is a hero hunt, not a full-body character creator. Gamescom demos started by picking one of four Weavers, then a sub-class or Style, then a contract. That is the customization that actually existed on the floor. Outfits, hairstyles, and accessories were already visible on those four bodies. Official combat copy talks about switching Styles and skill mixes to match the fight. Cosmetics are the monetization path HoYoverse told PC Gamer it is considering. This page keeps those layers apart so nobody treats a booth wardrobe as a Steam character-creator screenshot.
Pair it with Weavers for identity, roles for jobs, and monetization for what is not a banner.
What the booth let you change
Fraser Brown (PC Gamer) wrote that the four available characters could be customized with different outfits, hairstyles, and accessories. GameRant repeated the same suite. That is not a Genshin wish screen and it is not Elden Ring’s character editor. You pick a named (or soon-to-be-named) Weaver, then dress them. Hexsworn still heals. The knight still clashes. The bow still fills a gauge.
Inven added a combat-facing layer: after you select a body, you pick a sub-class. Ultimates in that demo changed with that pick. One bow player took a winged transformation that turned light attacks into skill-tier hits; Divine on the same seat became a beast-mount with awkward melee range and an ultimate-length cooldown. Those are loadout choices, not cosmetics. They belong next to combat, not in a fashion tab.
Official site language says you can switch roles and loadouts at will. PC Gamer read that as not being locked to one face per account. Until a client shows the swap UI, treat it as a published intention: take a contract as Hexsworn, the next as knight, without rerolling.
Styles and skill mixes
HoYoverse’s combat copy, carried by Gematsu and the FAQ, is that you mix Styles and skills to match the hunt and the team. Famitsu’s hands-on added that the shipped game plans weapon customization and skill upgrades beyond the demo kit. None of those writers printed a talent tree. Do not invent one.
A Style is the knob you will actually turn in a test: a different ultimate, a different Divine, a different way the same Weaver spends a heavy. It is how two people on the Gamescom knight can still diverge after a week of hunts. Divine Skills grow as bosses fall, so the wardrobe and the build are separate progress tracks. Cosmetics should not change whether you can clash. If a future shop sells a sword skin that also raises stagger, that is a different article — and it is not the sentence published in August 2026.
Cosmetics versus gacha
The published character rule is: no random draws; unlock through continued play. The published money rule is: cosmetics are an important avenue under consideration. Those two sentences can both be true. Outfits, hair, and accessories are the layer previewers already saw. Weapon banners, relic boxes, and battle passes were not promised and were not ruled out. Monetization owns that caution.
Do not spend money in a client that does not exist. Do pre-register so you can actually see the closet: pre-register. If a beta NDA forbids streaming your hat, obey the mail, not this wiki.
What this is not
- A height slider. No previewer described body morphs.
- A secret fifth Weaver unlocked by dyeing hair.
- Proof that every cosmetic will be a straight purchase. HoYoverse did not say “no gacha anywhere.” It said characters are not random draws.
- A reason to skip Hexsworn because a trailer spent more seconds on a greatsword.
When an English customization screen ships, this page gets the tab names. Until then, three facts hold: pick a Weaver, pick a Style, dress the body. For who those Weavers are, stay on this hub’s overview. For how a four-role party should stand, use roles. For the press week that described the wardrobe, use the hands-on roundup.
